Important Race Update: Finish Line Changes
Due to changing circumstances, we’ve made a slight adjustment to the race course. The route remains largely unchanged, but the race will now finish at Riverview Village Shopping Center instead of The Lovett School. The course will still feature a net downhill and will remain an official Peachtree Road Race qualifier.
What You Need to Know:
- Parking remains the same. Participant and spectator parking will be available in the Overlook I & III Parking Decks, just as in previous years.
- Family and friends are welcome to watch or meet runners at the new finish line, located on the upper level of the shopping center. Spectators will be directed to designated viewing areas upon arrival. There is no parking available at the finish line, so all spectators should park in the Overlook I & III Parking Decks and either walk or take the shuttle bus to the finish area.
-
The post-race celebration remains at Vinings Jubilee. After crossing the finish line, runners and spectators can walk (approximately 0.6 miles) or take one of the shuttle buses to the after-party festivities.
- Limited parking is available at Vinings Jubilee and is reserved for participants in the 1K Kids Fun Run and Doggie Dash.
Shuttle Bus Schedule:
- 8:05AM: 2 buses will take pedestrians from the intersection of Mt. Wilkinson Parkway and Overlook Parkway, one to the finish line at Riverview Village Shopping Center and a second one to Vinings Jubilee. No dogs allowed on buses.
- 8:30AM-9:45AM: Buses will transport pedestrians from the finish line to Vinings Jubilee.
- 9:30AM-10:30AM: Busses will return pedestrians from Vinings Jubilee to the Overlook Parking Decks after the post-race celebration.
